Pharmacy Technician students convicted of non- drug-related felonies may not be eligible to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. Pharmacy Technician students convicted of drug- or pharmacy-related felonies ARE NOT eligible to sit for the PTCB exam. Students seeking licensing as professional peace officers in Minnesota must complete the required Law Enforcement coursework at Rasmussen College or transfer in the equivalent. In addition, these students must complete an officially recognized first aid course in First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, or Emergency Response, and to complete practical/”skills” coursework meeting POST objectives, to be eligible to sit for the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) licensing exam. Students must provide Rasmussen College with a copy of their required first aid certification (such as a copy of their first responder card) for inclusion in the student’s file at Rasmussen College. Some skills training providers may require additional academic coursework. Skills training cannot be completed online.
