Students will know advanced theories of design and interactivity, web design, user experience design, project management, and portfolio development. They can create and combine multiple forms of media with a high level of craft and proficiency to generate interactive and web-based projects involving graphic, video, and audio assets. Students will complete the program with a web-based portfolio that demonstrates their skills, knowledge, and techniques in web, interactivity, video, and design. They value written and interpersonal communication, critical thinking and problem solving, information literacy, and the significance of diversity awareness skills in academic and workplace situations. Graduates will be employable in entry-level positions in graphic design, web design, user experience design, interactive design, or web development.
