Altus Suite consists of a two-part online assessment of non-cognitive skills, interpersonal characteristics, and personal values and priorities that are important for successful students and graduates of the DPT program. Altus Suite will complement the other components of the application criteria. There is an additional fee associated with this portion of the application. 1. Casper: An online situational judgment test. 2. Snapshot: A one-way recorded interview with standardized questions. PTCAS applications that are received without the required Altus Suite items will not be reviewed. 6. Letters of Recommendation Two professional letters of recommendation are required: • One recommendation must come from a licensed physical therapist • Rasmussen prefers that one letter is from a college professor who can attest to your ability to enter a competitive professional program. If you have been out of school for some time, a letter from a work setting will be accepted, as will a second letter from a physical therapist. Letters from family members or friends do not meet this requirement. 7. Rasmussen University Application and Background Check Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Qualified applicants will receive a communication from Rasmussen University informing them of their eligibility for acceptance, at that time the applicant will be required to complete an application to Rasmussen University and consent to, and receive, a clear background check to be accepted. Applicants Accepted with Conditions Accepted applicants who have provided evidence that they will complete acceptance requirements prior to matriculation must sign an enrollment agreement and pay the registration fee to reserve their space in the cohort. Students must provide official transcripts for the conferred degree or certificate by Friday of week 13 in the first quarter of their program or risk being administratively withdrawn from the program. Waitlist Applicants Qualified candidates that apply after the cohort maximum is met will be placed on a waitlist and informed of eligibility for acceptance if space becomes available. Waitlist applicants must meet all the Acceptance Requirements at the point in time they are contacted. Acceptance Requirements Completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
