Students will learn how to develop standard operating procedures, create support metrics, and apply these to the proper operation of the IT department. This course will also cover how to properly read and analyze network utilization reports and properly staff various IT departments based on proposed call volume and support needs. Utilization of helpdesk tracking tools and implementation of a tracking system will also be covered to ensure an IT department has the proper foundation to start metrics reporting.
