P. 164, Repeating Courses Policy (12/30/2022) Replace this Policy in its entirety with the following: Repeating Courses Policy Students who are meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress may retake courses up to three times, but only at regular tuition rates. Students must repeat and pass any courses in which they receive a failing grade or from which they have withdrawn or dropped in order to progress in their program. If the student is eligible to repeat the course, the failed, withdrawn or dropped course must be repeated the next time the course is offered. No course can be repeated within the same quarter/term in which it was most recently attempted. Repeated course credits may be included in financial aid award calculations when: • The student is repeating a course for a second or third time and failing grades have been earned in all previous attempts of that course; OR • The student is repeating a previously passed course (one time only per previously passed course) for a higher grade. In this case, if the student fails the previously passed course the student loses all future financial aid eligibility for that course.
