Add the following statement after Career Opportunities: Applicants for careers in this field may be subject to pre-employment screenings such as, but not limited to, criminal background checks, and drug/or alcohol testing. Employment decisions, including whether to require background checks and other tests, are made at the discretion of the employer. Rasmussen does not pre-screen for enrollment in this program. Any prospective student must consider their history, lifestyle and future actions before enrolling in the program, and carefully consider whether their actions may prevent them from attaining employment in the field they choose to pursue. Additional requirements, such as industry-specific training may be required to obtain employment in this field. P. 68 Master of Healthcare Administration (10/9/2023, 3/28/2024) Effective with the January 2, 2024 start date, replace the Acceptance Requirements section with the following: ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS To be considered for admission, applicants must submit an official transcript from an accredited institution of higher learning as recognized by the U. S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) documenting: a. A conferred Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 (no rounding) or higher or b. An official transcript documenting a conferred graduate-level certificate, Master’s degree, or doctoral degree. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree GPA of 2.0 (no rounding) to 2.49 may request an exception to the minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA requirement through the submission of a personal statement in the form of a written essay. Instructions and a scoring rubric for submitting a request for an exception may be obtained from the Admissions Advisor. The scoring of the committee will be final.
